Why exact PDF file sizes cannot be guaranteed
PdfnMore shows the actual output size after compression so you can compare it with the source. A preset can produce little savings or even a larger file, so keep the source and use stronger compression only when the result remains readable.
Compression results depend on the structure of the source PDF. The current live tool offers three quality presets but does not promise an exact target file size; already-optimized PDFs may not become smaller.

Why did my PDF not become much smaller?
