Choose the right JPG resolution
Selective export avoids rendering and downloading pages you do not need from a long PDF. JPG is useful for slides, thumbnails, social posts and photographic pages; higher DPI creates sharper images but also larger files.
Export page ranges with original page numbers
ZIP filenames keep the original PDF page numbers, so exporting pages 2 and 9 creates clearly numbered page images instead of renumbering them as pages 1 and 2. Inspect text and graphics before using the images in a final publication.
The live tool exports up to 100 selected output pages per request at 96–300 DPI. It renders PDF pages as images; it does not yet extract original embedded image objects from inside a PDF.
Frequently asked questions about PDF to JPG
Can I convert only selected PDF pages to JPG?
Yes. Leave Pages to export as all for the whole PDF, or enter pages and ranges such as 1,3,5-8. The ZIP keeps the original page numbers in each JPG filename.
What JPG resolutions can I choose?
The current tool offers 96, 150, 200 and 300 DPI. Higher DPI generally improves sharpness while increasing processing time and output size.
Does PDF to JPG extract the original images inside a PDF?
No. The current live tool renders selected PDF pages as JPG files. Embedded-image extraction is a different workflow and is not presented as a live feature.
