Combine PDFs in the order you choose
Visual file ordering is useful for reports, applications, project packs and scanned sections that arrived as separate documents. Drag a file card or use the Earlier and Later controls so the visible file sequence matches the final document sequence. The processing panel reports the observable request state and an estimated time remaining; it does not invent upload or server stages that the browser cannot verify.
What to check after merging PDFs
Open the merged result and verify the boundary between source files, total page count and any forms, signatures or unusual interactive content. The result reports the measured browser request duration separately from the earlier estimate. If individual pages inside the merged document need rearranging afterward, continue with Organize PDF.
The current merge workflow accepts up to 20 PDFs, keeps every page from each source file, and previews the first page of each selected PDF locally. It merges whole PDFs only: it does not interleave, rotate or remove individual pages before merging, and it does not claim to observe internal server-side stages. Use Organize PDF, Rotate PDF or Remove PDF Pages for those page-level tasks.
Frequently asked questions about Merge PDF
Can I preview PDFs before I merge them?
Yes. PdfnMore renders the first page of each selected PDF locally in your browser so you can identify files before processing. Selecting files for preview does not start a merge request.
Can I change PDF order or individual pages before merging?
You can reorder whole source PDFs by dragging file cards or using Earlier and Later. The current Merge PDF workflow does not interleave, rotate or delete individual pages; use Organize PDF, Rotate PDF or Remove PDF Pages for page-level changes.
Does the Merge PDF progress display show real server stages?
No. While the request is running, PdfnMore shows the observable request state plus an estimated time remaining based on the files and elapsed time. After completion, it shows the measured request duration instead of claiming server stages the browser cannot observe.
