How to crop PDF pages

Upload a PDF, drag the visible top, right, bottom and left crop handles or type exact percentages, choose whether the crop applies to every page or only selected pages, and check the result in the local page preview before processing. PdfnMore shades the area that will fall outside the exported page frame so you can inspect the change without uploading just to preview it.

Trim PDF margins precisely

Crop PDF is useful for scan borders, uneven whitespace and repeated margins. Apply one crop setting to the whole document or enter a page selection such as 1,3,5-8 when only part of the PDF needs trimming. Pages outside the selected range stay unchanged. On rotated pages, the visible drag handles map back to the correct stored PDF edge used by the export, and keyboard users can adjust a focused handle with the arrow keys.

Cropping changes the visible area, not redaction

Download and inspect the cropped PDF before replacing the source. Cropping changes the visible page box; it is not secure redaction and may leave underlying PDF content recoverable by other software. Use a true redaction workflow when information must be removed rather than merely hidden from the page frame.

Current Crop PDF limits

Each Crop PDF job accepts one readable PDF up to 50 MB and 1,000 pages; password-protected PDFs are rejected. Each stored PDF edge accepts 0–40%. One crop setting can be applied to all pages or a selected page/range. The four visible-edge handles and exact percentage inputs edit that shared crop setting in 0.5% steps. Separate crop boxes per page, moving the whole crop rectangle as one object, automatic white-margin trimming and secure redaction are not live. On pages carrying PDF rotation metadata, the local preview maps visible handles to the stored edges so the preview and submitted crop values follow the current export behavior.

Frequently asked questions about Crop PDF

Can I preview and drag the PDF crop before processing?

Yes. After selecting a PDF, PdfnMore renders pages locally in your browser and shades the portions outside the current crop. Drag any of the four teal visible-edge handles, or type exact percentages, and inspect pages before you press Crop PDF.

Can I crop only selected PDF pages?

Yes. Choose Selected pages and enter page numbers or ranges such as 1,3,5-8. PdfnMore applies the current crop setting only to those pages and leaves the other pages unchanged. Every selected page currently shares the same crop percentages.

What file limits apply, and does cropping securely remove content?

Each job accepts one readable PDF up to 50 MB and 1,000 pages, and password-protected PDFs are rejected. Cropping only changes the visible PDF page area; it is not secure redaction and must not be used to permanently remove confidential content.
