Watermark every page or only selected page ranges
Use all for the whole document or a compact page selection such as 1,3,5-8. PdfnMore validates page numbers against the actual PDF and rejects an invalid or out-of-range selection instead of silently watermarking the wrong pages.
Place text or logo watermarks in nine page positions
Choose top, center or bottom placement combined with left, center or right alignment. The visible-page placement model accounts for ordinary 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° PDF page rotations so the preview and exported result target the same visual area.
Use a bounded PNG or JPG logo watermark
Logo mode accepts one PNG or JPG up to 10 MB and 20 megapixels. You can choose 10%–50% page-width sizing, opacity, rotation, page coverage and one of the same nine placement presets used for text. Transparent PNG pixels remain transparent in the exported overlay where the PDF renderer supports normal alpha composition.
What this Watermark PDF tool does and does not do
The current production tool adds configurable text or one PNG/JPG logo watermark while preserving source PDF pages and their rotation metadata. It does not tile a mark repeatedly across a page, place marks underneath existing content, add multiple logos at once, accept SVG, or offer free-drag pixel-exact positioning. Those controls should ship only with output/preview parity tests.
One PDF per job, 50 MB current per-file limit, up to 1,000 PDF pages, text up to 80 normalized characters, or one PNG/JPG logo up to 10 MB and 20 megapixels. Both modes support all pages or validated page ranges, nine placement presets, opacity 10–80% and angle -60° to 60°. Text adds optional font size 12–96 pt and hex color; logo width is 10–50% of page width.
Frequently asked questions about watermarking PDFs
Can I watermark only selected PDF pages?
Yes. Use all for every page or enter page numbers and ranges such as 1,3,5-8. The server validates the range against the uploaded PDF before creating the result.
Where can I place the watermark on a PDF page?
You can choose from nine presets: top left, top center, top right, center left, center, center right, bottom left, bottom center and bottom right. The browser preview and exported PDF use the same visible-page placement model, including ordinary 90-degree rotated pages.
Can I change watermark opacity, angle and size?
Yes. Text and logo watermarks support 10%–80% opacity and -60° to 60° rotation. Text supports automatic or fixed font sizes plus a six-digit color; logos support 10%–50% page-width sizing while preserving their aspect ratio.
Does the preview upload my PDF or logo?
No. The PDF and optional logo preview are rendered from files already selected in your browser. Upload and processing start only after you press Add watermark.
Can I add an image or logo watermark?
Yes. Choose Image / logo and upload one PNG or JPG up to 10 MB and 20 megapixels. You can preview page coverage, nine positions, opacity, rotation and 10%–50% page-width sizing before processing. SVG, multiple-logo, tiled, under-content and free-drag placement are not supported in this release.
Is the watermarked PDF saved to My Documents?
No. Core processing returns the result to your browser and does not silently save it to My Documents. Persistent saving will require real account sign-in and an explicit save action.
