Customize a readable PDF text watermark

Choose where the text sits on the page, use opacity to keep body text legible, choose a horizontal or diagonal angle, select an automatic or fixed font size, and pick the watermark text color. The browser-local preview updates from these settings before you submit the PDF.

1

Select your PDF

Choose one PDF up to the current 50 MB per-file limit. Selection alone does not send the file for processing.

2

Set the watermark

Enter text, choose pages and placement, tune opacity, rotation, size and color, and inspect more than one page when needed.

3

Process and verify

Press Add watermark, download the returned PDF and inspect important pages before replacing your original.

Watermark every page or only selected page ranges

Use all for the whole document or a compact page selection such as 1,3,5-8. PdfnMore validates page numbers against the actual PDF and rejects an invalid or out-of-range selection instead of silently watermarking the wrong pages.

Place watermark text in nine page positions

Choose top, center or bottom placement combined with left, center or right alignment. The visible-page placement model accounts for ordinary 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° PDF page rotations so the preview and exported result target the same visual area.

What this Watermark PDF tool does and does not do

The current production tool adds configurable text watermarks while preserving source PDF pages and their rotation metadata. It does not yet add image/logo watermarks, tile a mark repeatedly across a page, place marks underneath existing content, or offer free-drag pixel-exact positioning. Those controls should ship only with output/preview parity tests.

Current limits

One PDF per job, 50 MB current per-file limit, text up to 80 normalized characters, all pages or validated page ranges, nine placement presets, opacity 10–80%, angle -60° to 60°, optional font size 12–96 pt, and six-digit hex text color.

Frequently asked questions about watermarking PDFs

Can I watermark only selected PDF pages?

Yes. Use all for every page or enter page numbers and ranges such as 1,3,5-8. The server validates the range against the uploaded PDF before creating the result.

Where can I place the watermark on a PDF page?

You can choose from nine presets: top left, top center, top right, center left, center, center right, bottom left, bottom center and bottom right. The browser preview and exported PDF use the same visible-page placement model, including ordinary 90-degree rotated pages.

Can I change the watermark opacity, angle, size and color?

Yes. The current text-watermark tool lets you choose 10%–80% opacity, -60° to 60° rotation, an automatic or fixed font size, and a six-digit text color before processing.

Does the preview upload my PDF?

No. The preview is rendered from the file already selected in your browser. Upload and processing start only after you press Add watermark.

Can I add an image or logo watermark?

Not in this release. The live tool currently supports configurable text watermarks only. Image/logo watermarks, tiled marks, under-content layering and free-drag placement remain unavailable until preview and exported-PDF behavior are verified together.

Is the watermarked PDF saved to My Documents?

No. Core processing returns the result to your browser and does not silently save it to My Documents. Persistent saving will require real account sign-in and an explicit save action.
