Sign PDF is useful for forms, approvals, acknowledgements and documents that need a visible signature mark without rebuilding the original PDF.
Electronic signatures versus digital certificates
This first production version creates a visible electronic signature image only. It does not issue certificates, verify identity or create a cryptographic digital signature, so regulated signing workflows may require a dedicated digital-signature provider.
The current production Sign PDF supports one PDF up to 50 MB and 300 pages, up to 20 placements of the same visible signature per job, and a signature image up to 5 MB. It supports draw, type and PNG/JPG upload modes. Certificate-backed digital signatures, multiple signer identities, audit trails and identity verification are not live yet.
Frequently asked questions about Sign PDF
Is this a digital certificate signature?
No. The current tool places a visible electronic signature image on the PDF. It does not create a certificate-backed cryptographic signature.
How can I create my signature?
You can draw it in the browser, type your name to create a signature-style image, or upload a PNG/JPG signature image.
Can I place the same signature more than once?
Yes. Place a signature, save that placement, move to another page or location, and add more placements before generating the signed PDF.
